Butterflies Series evolved: The metamorphosis, sense of renewal and freedom, the beauty and lightness of spirit of butterflies combined with their incredible bioengineering by Mother Nature always kept me in awe. I watched and photographed native butterflies during summer in WI, the exotic ones in Mexico and at the Nature Museum in Chicago, also collected images from internet. To research and reproduce them in minute details was a challenging and gratifying adventure.
