THE WAVE
Behind the curtain of a blue wave
Stands Queen of Seas in front of nave
Of bluish dunes ornate with corals,
And school of fish performing chorales.
She rules realm of peace and beauty
Yet, she will drawn all thieves with booty.
Don’t get her mad or face rebuttal
Of tidal waves immense and brutal.
She is cold but fair
To those who fear her
She’ll bestow gifts
On those she cares for.
She blessed me once
With a solemn promise
Of safety pass
Through her belongings.
