Commercial Work
"The Swiss Benevolent Society will celebrate its 150th Anniversary in 2022, and will mark this historical event with the making of a beer, a meaningful drink for both Switzerland and Chicago.
Immediately following the Great Chicago Fire, Swiss and others donated money and goods to help those Swiss in Chicago who had lost everything in the fire; events that led to the founding of the Society on May 1, 1872, which was then incorporated by the State of Illinois on August 14, 1872.
To memorialize this event and also the many contributions of Swiss and Swiss-Americans to the development of Chicago and the Mid-West, the Swiss Benevolent Society will work with the Great Central Brewing Company to launch a Swiss Beer that memorializes Swiss brewer Andrew Sulzer who established the first commercial brewery in Chicago in 1833 together with German brewer William Haas.
We are now soliciting designs for the Sleeve Wrap as well as for Beer/Drink Coasters.
